Ridiculously Easy Baked Sweet Potato Recipe

Easy Baked Sweet Potato Recipe-Family Acupuncture, Wakefield MA

I’ll be honest.  I don’t really enjoy cooking even though I do a lot of it so the easier a meal is, the happier I am. That’s why I love this insanely easy recipe for baked sweet potato.  Here it goes:

[fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][fusion_checklist icon=”check” iconcolor=”white” circle=”yes”]

  • Put sweet potato into pan
  • Put pan into 400 degree oven
  • Cook for one hour

[/fusion_checklist]

That’s it.  Seriously.  And it’s de-li-cious.  It tastes a little like mashed up brown sugar.  Even my pickiest eater at home gobbles it up.

I suppose I could give you a few more instructions if you really need them.  Wash the sweet potato.  Cut off any funky looking parts.  Preheat the oven first.  To make it extra good, add a little butter from grass-fed cows (we like Kerrygold–available at Market Basket for you locals) and maybe a sprinkle of salt.

Sweet potatoes are easy to love.  Among their nutritious virtues, they contain loads of Vitamin A and fiber which aid with blood sugar regulation and the antioxidant beta-carotene.*  Eat up and enjoy!
